The long and short of it, this is actually an opportunity for companies that are lean and mean, and don’t have to worry about investors looking for returns or threatening to pull our their funding. Here in Seattle, the impact is startling – almost every startup I know of has already had layoffs or will have them soon and those looking for funding are having a very hard time.
